From end October to the beginning of
December the second biggest wildebeest migration in Africa takes place here
in the Liuwa Plains National Park. At times wildebeest and their calves can
be seen in there thousands when concentrated in the south of the park.
During November the flat grassland covered with wildebeest with young calves
is an awesome experience not to mention the numerous predators that stalk
them. On route to Liuwa from Katima Mulilo we camp on the banks of the
mighty Zambesi near the Sioma Ngonge falls. Here we cross the Zambesi with
a makoro to an island for a closer and more spectacular view. On route to
Mongu from Kalabo we cross the Zambesi floodplains, a distance of about 40
kilometres.

provide breakfast and dinner as well as shower facilities.
As with all our tours we provide two-way

North and South Kafue National Park.
For those who have spare time on their
hands can accompany us to the Kafue National Park. We camp on the banks of
the Kafue at the confluence with the Lufupa. The north Kafue is renowned for
leopard, being more active after dusk we will be taken out on a night drive.
From north Kafue we will move south along the bank of the Kafue. Overnight
at one of the luxurious lodges explore the area and move further south pass
the Itezhi Tezhi dam one of Zambia’s bigger dams. The tour ends at Victoria
Falls after we have visited this world heritage site.
For this leg of the tour your may also
bring with fishing tackle and the special dope to catch the big ones. We
arrange for a boat trip to easy the catch.
